OLYMPIC DREAMS GOES OVER $300K WITH ‘BIG A’ WIN

Olympic Dreams got the new year off to a great start for us with a win Sunday in a 2nd level open allowance at Aqueduct. OD, who went off the heavy favorite in spite of having not shown good off-track form, was scrubbed on early by Trevor McCarthy to secure a forward position just behind the leader in the mile and an eighth contest. McCarthy got busy again before the second turn and was finally able to get a nose in front shortly into the stretch then pulled away to win by 2 1/2 lengths. Olympic Dreams has now earned $303,195 on 5 wins from 12 starts.
